Adenia venenata is a semi-succulent, almost tree-like, climbing plant 1-8 m tall. It produces a swollen, bottle-shaped lower trunk with few or many hairless twining branches emerging from its top that rises high in trees. It is one of the most remarkable pachypod species of the genus.
Nice seedling more than 25 cm high. Caudex about 2 cm
