Small winter-growing Crassulaceae of Southern Africa.
The leaves appear in fall and the plant needs a cool and wet season in winter, together with the sunniest possible exposure.
It blooms in late spring and then will rest. The floral stems will remain on the plant several years turning into "thorns" making the charm of this small stocky plant.
