Adenia firingalavensis is a large, succulent, deciduous, slow-growing vine, reaching 15 m in length with a conical trunk in the shape of a waxy, warty bottle also known as caudex. It climbs with tendrils, the inflorescence is axillary. The fruit is an ovoid capsule.
