Tylecodon pearsonii is a remarkable shrub with succulent stem, with strongly swollen caudex. Its branches grow in the shape of fingers and are covered with old leaves scars.
The caudex can reach a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 30 cm. Its flowers are whitish, striped with red.
In T. pearsonii, the flower buds are hanging and not erect and spread out as in other species of Tylecodon.
