The Adenia stylosa is a shrub or vine pachycaul forming a tangle of twisted stems radiating in all directions from an extraordinary, hard, conical, irregular and bumpy green caudex resembling a candle in the shape of a mountain with melting wax. The male and female flowers are carried on separate plants. Pale yellow flowers opening to tendrils in spring and summer. The young leaves are usually red, the color remains more or less for a long time.

10/15 cm seedling. Caudex diameter < 1 cm. WARNING, these are seedlings that do not necessarily have leaves as red as one might expect. SEE PIC 6

Exposition : lumineuse et ensoleillée mais ATTENTION de ne pas exposer le caudex en plein soleil.
Température : minimum de 10°c (moyenne)(croissance estivale)
Sol : pas trop riche mais surtout bien drainé à base de pierre ponce (pumice) et de terreau du commerce ou que vous aurez confectionné.
